Basement Waterproofing School movie #2

This video shows the preparation process to install a Water Trek Aqua Route drainage system. This system usually goes all around the inside of the basement next to the wall. It requires removing the concrete from about 5 to 12 inches out to from 4 to 8 inches deep depending on the tilt of the floor. A length of patented Water Trek is laid as close as possible to the wall and surrounded by mini cobble stones. The system is then re- covered with concrete to match the old floor as close as possible. The whole system then drains downhill into the Patented Water Grabber sump and pumped outside with a 1/3 HP Barnes pump. As you will see this is tough work and involves quite a bit of skill and I wouldn’t advise doing it yourself.
